Tainan Patriotic Women’s Hall

When I was riding my bicycle passing Fuqian Road, a Japanese-style building opposite the Confucius Temple caught my eye, and I decided to stop and take a look. This Japanese-style building was originally a women’s group building during the Japanese colonial period. It is currently a historic site in Tainan’s West Central District – the Patriotic Women’s Hall. The exterior of the entire building is a Japanese-style residence. Those who like Japanese architecture will definitely be attracted to it, because there are not many such Japanese-Western compromise houses preserved in Taiwan, making them even more precious. The floor at the entrance is an early mosaic tile. Walking into the house is like walking into a nostalgic TV drama scene. I couldn’t bear to miss every place. The camera clicks one after another and my hands are sore. The first floor is the sales and display area, and the other side is the sand play area so you can bring your children here. Then you must change into the slippers in the hotel before going to the second floor. The second floor feels like walking into a nostalgic hotel in the countryside of Japan. There is a Japanese kimono in the house leading me on a tour. The feeling of looking out of the wooden frame window is too literary!
