The 2023 Tainan Summer Music Festival General Roar Concert will be held on July 22 (Sat) ~ July 23 (Sun)
This year’s Jiangjunhou Music Festival will be held at Jiangjun Fishing Port on July 22 and 23. The themes of the two-day event are “Jiangjun Crazy Party” and “Port Pop Party” respectively. We will invite famous artists from the Golden Melody Awards, Golden Sound Awards, and hip-hop circles to perform together! After the two-day concert, there will be a brilliant fireworks show lighting up the night sky of Jiangjun Fishing Port.

This time, the editor went specially to help everyone collect the hidden food and private attractions in Jiangjun District, Tainan, so that everyone can watch the concert and enjoy the scenery of Jiangjun’s fishing port.
First stop
Fangyuan Art Museum
The predecessor of Fangyuan Art Museum is the former residence of Jiangjun Township Mayor Huang Qingwu [Zhuyuan]. After graduating from Taiwan Medical College (now National Taiwan University Medical School) during the Japanese occupation, he returned to his hometown to open a clinic and served as the first government-appointed mayor of Jiangjun Township. He was elected as the mayor of Jiangjun Township five times and served the villagers for fifteen years. In 1944, Suiyuan building was built at No. 1, Xihua Village, Fuwang, integrating garden, clinic and home. The most distinctive feature of the siheyuan is that the central courtyard is surrounded by arched corridors.
The building itself is made of red bricks and bamboo walls. The beams, columns, doors and windows of the building are made of high-quality Taiwanese red cypress.
Huang Qingwu’s study has a rich collection of books, and the entire wall is made into a bookcase. She also loves to create stone scenes of Gugu stone, which are full of literati flavor and have the style characteristics of landscape painting. Hundreds of creative works were placed next to the circular pool in the center of the original atrium. After renovation, Suiyuan was renamed Fangyuan Art Museum, which will exhibit ceramics and other artworks collected by the museum over the years for a long time.

Second stop
Jiangjun Fishing Port – Xiuli Oyster Cake
After getting lost for a while, I finally found it. It is indeed a delicious alley food~
There are really a lot of people, everyone comes here because of the reputation

The signature oyster pancake tastes full of chives. The editor even scalds the oysters when they are fried ~ great
Shrimp crisps are fresh and have firm meat

The shortbread rolls are really great, fresh and chewy.
