One of the Four Famous Gardens, a Tourist Attraction in West Central District, Tainan
Former Tainan Public Hall
I love the trip to the ancient capital of Tainan. This time I chose to stay at the Three Doors Architectural Cultural and Creative Hotel in the West Central District, which is very convenient for transportation and can be reached in 6-8 minutes on foot from the train station. It is also about a 6-minute walk from the hotel. I was surprised to find the third space in the city, “Wu Garden”, a garden architecture. The good thing is that no tickets are required to enter the park. I feel a little happy~. When Wu Garden was first established, it was called “Purple Spring Garden”. It was built by local gentry: Wu Shangxin during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the four famous gardens in Taiwan.
Walking through the streets and alleys, you can see the changes of a city. The space has always been there. You can appreciate the accumulation of years in old buildings and feel the happy time of slow travel. There is a Japanese wooden house with quite cultural characteristics – Shibamao Teahouse, and a classical garden that blends Chinese and European styles. Different art exhibitions are often held in the Guild Hall. No matter from which angle, the interior and exterior furnishings of the Tainan West Central District Attractions are very easy to capture the camera, and it is highly recommended! For travelers who love the beautiful and unexpected scenes during their journey and the rich cultural heritage, this will definitely evoke the soul that loves old houses and architectural art.
