From cram school to design hotel: the story of an old building reborn<\/h2>\n

3 Door Hotel stands on Chenggong Road, once a bustling street. It began as a thirty-year-old cram school building. We rebuilt the old house anew<\/strong>, and it was transformed into a design hotel with a character of its own. In the course of repair and reinforcement we deliberately kept part of the traditional architectural imagery, creating a beauty of contrast in which old and new merge.<\/p>\n

Walking through the fresh interior of the hotel, you may be delighted to find terrazzo flooring from the 1960s, or the structure of an old staircase preserved beside a modern lift. This is not only design but respect for the history of this land.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
