During the Mid-Autumn Festival, people watch the bright moon, eat moon cakes, appreciate osmanthus flowers, and drink osmanthus wine. Houyi&#8217;s disciple Peng Meng coveted the elixir and forced Chang&#8217;e to hand it over. Chang&#8217;e had no choice but to swallow the elixir and flew into the sky.
